फ्रांस का एक डेटिंग ऐप है, जिसका नाम 'ग्लीडेन' है। यह विशेष रूप से एक्स्ट्रामैरिटल डेटिंग ऐप (Extramarital Dating App) है। इस ऐप की रिपोर्ट आई है, जिसमें खुलासा हुआ है कि इस समय भारत में करीब 20 लाख लोग एक्स्ट्रामैरिटल संबंध बना रहे हैं। यह आंकड़े फ्रांस की एक्स्ट्रामैरिटल डेटिंग ऐप ग्लीडेन के ही हैं।
डेटा के अनुसार, पिछले वर्ष 2022 में इस ऐप के 10 मिलियन यूजर्स, अर्थात 1 करोड़ यूजर्स पूरे हुए। इन यूजर्स में से करीब 20% भारतीय हैं। यानी लगभग 20 लाख भारतीय इस ऐप के माध्यम से डेटिंग कर रहे हैं।
इस ऐप का उपयोग किस प्रोफेशन के लोग कर रहे हैं?
अब तक डेटिंग के लिए यह माना जाता रहा है कि नए ज़माने या अविवाहित लोग ही डेटिंग करते हैं। लेकिन ग्लीडेन की रिपोर्ट ने खुलासा किया है कि इस ऐप की मदद से डेट करने वालों में डॉक्टर्स, इंजीनियर्स और आईटी से जुड़े लोग भी शामिल हैं। छोटे और बड़े शहरों के लोग भी इस ऐप का उपयोग कर रहे हैं, जो एक्स्ट्रामैरिटल डेटिंग कर रहे हैं।
किन शहरों के लोग शामिल हैं?
ग्लीडेन की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक भारत के हर शहर के लोग इस ऐप का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। मुंबई, बेंगलुरू, दिल्ली, और कोलकाता जैसे बड़े शहरों के साथ ही इंदौर, भोपाल, पटना, और मेरठ जैसे छोटे शहरों में भी लोग इस एक्स्ट्रामैरिटल डेटिंग ऐप का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। साल 2019 में ग्लीडेन ऐप पर पुणे, हैदराबाद, चेन्नई, गुरुग्राम, अहमदाबाद, चंडीगढ़, लखनऊ, कोच्चि, नोएडा, गुवाहाटी, विशाखापट्टनम, नागपुर, सूरत और भुवनेश्वर के पुरुषों और महिलाओं ने भी पंजीकरण किया था।
20 लाख में से 40 प्रतिशत महिलाएं
इस ऐप के डेटा के मुताबिक सबसे दिलचस्प बात है कि इसमें भारतीय यूजर्स में 20 प्रतिशत यूजर्स भारत से हैं, और इनमें से 40 प्रतिशत महिलाएं हैं। ये महिलाएं रिश्तों में कुछ नयापन या एक्स्ट्रामैरिटल संबंध बनाने की तलाश में हैं। यूजर्स की उम्र की बात करें तो ग्लीडेन पर सभी उम्र के पुरुष और महिलाएं शामिल हैं। महिलाओं की औसत उम्र 26 वर्ष है, वहीं पुरुषों की औसत उम्र 30 साल के करीब है। इन यूजर्स में भारत की घरेलू महिलाएं भी शामिल हैं। इसका कारण यह है कि ऐप में महिलाओं के लिए कई सुरक्षा सुविधाएं हैं, जिसके कारण महिलाएं खुले दिल से इसका उपयोग कर रही हैं।
बेंगलुरु सबसे 'बेवफा'
रिश्तों में बेवफाई यानी एक्स्ट्रामैरिटल संबंधों के मामले में बेंगलुरु नंबर एक पर है। रिपोर्ट बताती है कि ग्लीडेन पर बेंगलुरु के यूजर्स हर दिन औसत डेढ़ घंटे इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। इस एप पर पुरुष 24-30 वर्षीय महिलाएं खोज रहे हैं, जबकि महिलाएं 31-40 वर्ष के पुरुषों की तलाश में हैं।
क्यों नएपन तलाश रहे लोग?
रिश्तों में अलग होने की कई वजहें सामने आ रही हैं। दरअसल, शादी में बोरियत, निराशा और दूसरे से ऊब इन सभी वजहों से लोग अलगाव की तलाश में हैं। इसके साथ ही ध्यान नहीं देना, अकेलापन, बच्चे की जिम्मेदारी को संभालने के लिए विवाद और शारीरिक असंतुष्टि भी कारण है।

Major cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata, as well as smaller cities like Indore, Bhopal, Patna, and Meerut, have users actively engaging with Gleeden.
Among the users, 40% are women, and interestingly, Gleeden's features have made it a safe platform for women, drawing housewives from India as well.
Regarding age demographics, all age groups are present among both men and women on Gleeden. The average age of women on the app is around 26 years, while for men, it is around 30 years.
Among the Indian users, Bengaluru leads in infidelity or extramarital affairs, with users from the city spending an average of one and a half hours daily on the app. Men in the age group of 24-30 are seeking women, while women in the age group of 31-40 are searching for men on the app.
Various reasons lead people to seek novelty in their relationships. Common reasons include boredom, dissatisfaction, lack of attention, loneliness, child-rearing responsibilities leading to disputes, and physical dissatisfaction.
