According to WABetaInfo, the updated WhatsApp version will have an HD button in the app's drawing editor, similar to how HD photos are sent. Before sending a video, users will have two video quality settings to choose from: standard and HD.
By default, WhatsApp compresses videos to reduce data usage and storage space. However, the HD option will enable users to send videos in higher quality, although they may still undergo compression. Android users will need to update their WhatsApp beta version to 2.23.14.10 to access this feature. If you are part of the WhatsApp beta program, you should have received this update.
In addition to the video feature, WhatsApp now allows beta testers to share up to 100 photos at once. This feature is not yet available in the stable version of the app and currently has a limit of 30 photos. It was spotted in the Android 2.23.4.3 beta update.
