भारत में यूकलिप्टस खेती

उपयुक्त खेती क्षेत्र
यूकलिप्टस किसी भी प्रकार की मिट्टी पर उगाया जा सकता है और इसके लिए विशेष जलवायु आवश्यक नहीं होता। यह किसी भी मौसम में अच्छी तरह से उग सकता है और 30 से 90 मीटर की ऊँचाई तक पहुंच सकता है।
भूमि की तैयारी
यूकलिप्टस की खेती के लिए भूमि को गहरे खाद देने और फिर हल देकर समतल कर दिया जाता है। पौधों की रोपाई के लिए गड्ढे तैयार किए जाते हैं, जो जैविक खाद से समृद्ध किए जाते हैं और रोपाई से पहले पानी दिया जाता है। पेड़ों की रोपाई 5 फीट की दूरी पर की जाती है।
रोपाई का समय
यूकलिप्टस के पौधे पौधशालाओं में बढ़ाए जाते हैं और फिर खेत में बोए जाते हैं। मौसम में बारिश के समय रोपाई करना सबसे उत्तम होता है, और प्रारंभिक सिंचाई की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है। अगर पौधे मौसम के पूर्व रोपे गए हैं, तो पहली सिंचाई को तुरंत बाद में करनी चाहिए।
सिंचाई की आवश्यकताएँ
