6. **पूरी फसल की देखभाल**: फसल की पूरी देखभाल करें, उचित समय पर कटाई करें और उत्पाद को बाजार में बेचने की व्यवस्था करें।
7. **बाजार अनुसंधान**: चंदन की खेती के बाजार की अच्छे से अनुसंधान करें और उपयुक्त मूल्य पर अपने उत्पादों को बेचने की कोशिश करें।

As the tree matures further, a farmer can easily harvest around 15-20 kilograms of heartwood each year. This heartwood can be sold in the market for approximately 3,000 to 7,000 rupees per kilogram, and in some cases, it can even fetch up to 10,000 rupees per kilogram. The cost of sandalwood cultivation per hectare is around 25 lakh rupees for the entire crop cycle (15 years), while the returns can range from 1.2 to 1.5 crores.

Although it's important to note that the government has placed restrictions on the sale of sandalwood heartwood among the general public, anyone can engage in sandalwood farming. The government manages the purchase of sandalwood. When it comes to planting sandalwood trees, you need to acquire saplings. The cost of a sandalwood sapling varies, ranging from 100 to 150 rupees.
