लंबे इंतजार के बाद, दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी इलेक्ट्रिक कार कंपनी, टेस्ला, भारतीय बाजार में आखिरकार प्रवेश कर गई है। जून में, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी अमेरिका की यात्रा पर थे, उनके दौरे में टेस्ला के सीईओ, एलन मस्क, से मुलाकात हुई थी। इस बाद, एलन मस्क ने पीएम मोदी की तारीफ की थी, जिससे भारत में टेस्ला कंपनी की आने वाली है।

पंचशील बिजनेस पार्क में स्थित यह ऑफिस पुणे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे से लगभग 3 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है। CRI Matrix नामक रियल एस्टेट एनालिटिक्स फर्म के अनुसार, टेस्ला को 60 महीने के लिए मासिक किराया 11.65 लाख रुपये और सुरक्षा जमा राशि 34.95 लाख रुपये देनी होगी। यह ऑफिस विंग बी के पहले मंजिल पर 5,580 वर्ग फुट क्षेत्र में स्थित है।
इस कदम से टेस्ला ने भारत में अपने व्यवसायिक उद्देश्यों की शुरुआत की है। 2021 में कंपनी ने अपनी भारतीय सहायक कंपनी को बेंगलुरु में पंजीकृत कराया था, उस समय से ही टेस्ला की भारत में प्रवेश की चर्चा थी। टेस्ला ने भारत में इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों और ईवी बैटरी के निर्माण के लिए एक प्रोडक्शन प्लांट स्थापित करने की योजना बनाई है।

The office space covers an area of 5,580 square feet on the first floor of Wing B.
This move marks Tesla's initial step towards starting its operations in India.
